Ling Cheng
Senior Advisor

Ms. Cheng has a great deal of experience as a journalist working for the biggest Beijing Newspaper group for over 20 years. As a senior sports journalist, she attended all types of international sports events, the Olympic Games in Korea 1988, Beijing Asian Game 1990, The 42nd World Table Tennis Championships in Sweden, The 44th World Table Tennis Championships in Great Britain, World Swimming Championships in Italy in 1994, World Gymnastics Championships in Japan in 1995, Thomas Cup and Uber Cup in Hong Kong in 1998, The New Century Kindling Collection Ceremony in New Zealand, etc. Ms. Cheng won many awards for special contributions in the field of sports journalism.
Wendy Zhou
General Advisor

Wendy is working at the Beijing Daily as a director of 2008 Olympic Game report department. During the past 8 years as a sports journalist, Wendy has participated many international Sport Events and interviewed many important people such as: Mr. Jacques Rogge (the eighth IOC President), the President of Athens Olympic Games and many Ambassadors. As part of China Sports Tour, Wendy is always offering the up to date information of China Sports and World Sports, especially the 2008 Olympic Games.
 
Steve Aldred
Director of Coaching Department

Having played football, cricket & basketball for Surrey County as a schoolboy in England, he went on to play football for Fulham Football Club in London, England. Injury prevented a full-time career and Stephen went on to play semi-professional & amateur football in Europe, North America and Asia. During this time he started coaching various teams and now holds an AFC “B’ License, FFA youth goalkeeper license, Sports Science & Sports Psychology qualifications. Stephen has been coaching football for 18 years with experience in England, France, Switzerland, North America, Australia, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Japan & Thailand.
Dennis Deng
Culture and Regional Tour Consulter of China Sports Tour

Deng Xiaosong (Dennis) is a Prof. of Taoism at the Beijing Center for Chinese Studies. Professor Deng has taught religious and philosophical thoughts of China, Japan, and India (including Buddhism, Confucianism, Daoism, and Hinduism) at the University of Colorado in Boulder and the University of Iowa. He has studied at the Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies at Kelaniya University in Sri Lanka and at the University of Colorado where he received his master’s degree in Religious Studies. He has received a number of awards and written numerous papers on Buddhism. While in Sri Lanka, Professor Deng lived and studied for six months in a Buddhist monastery in the suburbs of Colombo. He is a member of the Tu Nan Martial Arts Association and has five years of Tai Ji experience.
 
Howard Hao
Regional Tour and Sports Tour Consultant of China Sports Tour

Howard received a B.A. Sports Management and a M.A. in martial arts from the Beijing University of Physical Education (BUPE). While at BUPE, he spent two years as a Chinese roommate of U.S. students getting to know US undergraduates and American customs. He has made major contributions in the field of Chinese martial arts (WuShu) including publishing several articles and developing new, systematic ways of teaching WuShu. For his efforts he was named one of the "Outstanding Youths of the Century" by Macao TV. Howard currently plays a major role in a joint effort to codify the regulations of Wushu for possible Olympic entry.
Shine Liu
Project Director, China Sports Tour

Shine Liu received a B.A in International Business from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 2005. Shine started his Soccer career when his was 16 years old. He spent 1 year playing Soccer and studying Spanish at the Club de America in Mexico, and then traveled to Peru, America, Korea, Hong Kong, and Rwanda of Africa to play soccer. When he traveled the world, he would spend hours communicating with the local people, and had a great enthusiasm to introduce China to the world. After graduating from collage, he quit playing soccer and started working at an American Study abroad program as a residence assistant. In the meantime, he started work on his own business of promoting Sports camps and Sports tours in China. Now, as a project director at China Sports Tour, he is still working on building the cross culture bridge between the world and China through offering amazing customized sports trips and programs to China.
 
Dawn Du
Marketing Director, China Sports Tour

Dawn Du received a B.A in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the University of Bedfordshire, UK in 2004. Right after graduation, she joined the Event Organizing Department of Beijing Evening News. She participated in the 2004 Great Wall Concert, which invited Alicia Keys, Boys II Men, Cydi Lauper, and etc. to perform on the Great Wall, The Vienna New Year Concert 2005, The 3 on 3 Basketball Carnival 2005, The Red Trip of China Concert, The 2006 New Year Concert, etc. Dawn’s work with Beijing Evening News Foundation from 2006 focused on marketing culture exchange program, aiming to help more people get to know the real China through the above events activities.
Jack Chi
Trip Operator, China Sports Tour

Jack received a B.S in Applied Computing at Dundee University, Scotland. While he studied in Scotland, he fell in love with the beauty of Scotland and started traveling and exploring his new home. Jack also worked part time at Herbmedic and Clientlogic. After graduation, Jack worked for LTD as a full time employee in the U.K. However, Jack came back to China in 2004 and received a national tour guide license and started his new career – Traveling, which he always loved.
